An 80-year-old Michigan voter called former President Donald Trump “an asshole” and railed against his “dirty mouth” during an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday.
As votes were being counted in Michigan for both the Democratic and Republican primaries, 80-year-old Susan Titus listed all the reasons why she was opposed to Trump during an on-ground interview with the news network.
“NATO is a bulwark against Russian aggression and he was ready to walk out of that,” said Titus. “There are other ways he treated the people of Muslim religious background. His dirty mouth. I think he’s pretty much an asshole, to quote a phrase, and it’s terrifying to me, at 80, to think that he would be one of the last presidents.”
She claimed, “He could decimate social programs that I’ve been committed to and worked on for a very long time, and so there’s a whole variety, as well as his personal way of dealing with people and the world.”
The Michigan Republican Primary was quickly called for Trump over rival Nikki Haley on Tuesday evening, while Biden received more than 80% of the Democratic vote. A sizeable number of voters in the Democratic Primary did remain uncommitted towards Biden, however, exceeding the state party’s goal and sparking concerns among Democrats.
